The tennis facility and program at Hollytree is one of the finest in the state of Texas! Jim Sciarro, Director of Tennis, and four full-time assistant professionals provide a wide range of programming for Members of all levels.  Several top state and nationally ranked juniors are members of the Hollytree High Intensity Tennis (H.I.T.) program.  Hollytree became the first club in the history of the USTA Adult League program to send two teams from the same club to their respective USTA National tournament in 1997 and then again in 1998 and 1999! 

Hollytree Members enjoy the use of ten beautifully landscaped hard courts and two lighted clay courts (the only clay courts in East Texas). The tennis facilities include a large backboard, ball machine, several covered viewing areas, restrooms and a Snack Bar open during the summer months. Hollytree has one of the largest and fully stocked tennis pro shops in the area. 

The tennis calendar is packed with ongoing Member-only leagues, socials, events and tournaments throughout the year. Lessons and clinics are ongoing throughout the year for Members of all ages and skill levels.

Many events are sponsored by the Clubs Men’s and Women’s Tennis Associations. Our pros have accompanied members to many top professional tournaments including The French Open, U.S. Open, Monte Carlo, Masters Cup and Indian Wells. 

Hollytree Members participate in the USTA Adult, Senior, Mixed, Lonestar and Combo Leagues as well as the USPTA Fall League. Our junior players participate in USA junior team tennis and USPTA Gran Prix.
